The congress fee has been set by the directorial board of the GSA in cooperation with the local organisers. Ticket prices for members of the GSA, students and unemployed persons can be significantly cheaper. Information for doctoral candidates can be found below. Members of a GSA section alone are not entitled to purchase a reduced ticket. We kindly ask students and unemployed persons to provide respective proof. The local organisers have a list of all current members of the GSA at their disposal. Daily tickets can only be bought at place. 

The registration is binding upon confirmation, the congress fee is to be paid immediately after receipt of the invoice. Registration and payment of the fee is mandatory for all participants, including speakers and organisers of congress events. We confirm every receipt of payment - we know from experience that it can take a few weeks until the congress office can see receipts of payment on the account. The congress fee for weekly tickets includes: participation in the scientific programme, opening event, entrance to the opening party as well as the main programme. Participants have to pay for accomodation, travel and catering costs themselves. Please remember to book your accomodation early enough in advance. 

The ticket price should not prevent anyone from participating in the congress. Doctoral candidates who have to cover the congress fee themselves and are employed with less than 15h/week, who do not receive a scholarship and whose entire household income does not permit the purchase of a regular ticket are entitled to make use of the heavily subsidised student ticket prices. The organisers kindly ask for absolute honesty in this regard and reserve the right to demand respective evidence. 

It is an essential objective of the congress to function as a place that contributes to the training of young scientists. For this reason, the GSA congress 2018 once again offers tickets for student associations. 

This offer allows up to 5 students to purchase a group ticket for a total fee of 205,13 Euro. The group ticket includes the participation in all scientific event formats.

In case of a cancellation until 08 September 2018 the ticket price less a handling fee of 30 Euro can be refunded. In case of a cancellation after 08 September 2018, a refund of the fee is not possible.
